HiChef - Meal Planning Application
HiChef is an all-in-one meal planning app for discovering recipes, planning meals, following step-by-step video tutorials, and ordering groceries with less friction.

Overview
HiChef was created around a common cooking problem: people want to eat better and try new meals, but recipe discovery, meal planning, cooking guidance, and grocery shopping often happen across disconnected tools.
The product brings those moments together in a mobile-first experience where users can explore recipes, build a plan, learn with video, and move from inspiration to ingredients faster.

Design Focus
The design focused on reducing friction across four connected actions: finding meals, understanding how to cook them, organizing what to eat, and ordering what is needed.
- Recipe discovery for everyday meals and new ideas.
- Meal planning flows that help users organize their week.
- Video tutorials for step-by-step learning.
- Grocery ordering that connects planned meals to ingredients.

Interface System
The UI uses appetizing food imagery, clean mobile layouts, and direct task-based navigation to keep users focused. Recipe cards, cooking states, planning views, and shopping actions were designed to feel connected rather than separate.

Final Screens
The final screen set presents a complete mobile experience for food discovery and meal execution, from browsing recipes through guided learning and grocery follow-through.

Outcome
The project was published on Behance as a collaborative mobile app case study and received 34 appreciations, 432 views, and positive feedback for both its design and functionality.
For a portfolio context, HiChef shows the ability to design across an end-to-end product journey: content discovery, learning, planning, and commerce.
